Just got S&T 2009 activated, however, I can't get voice prompted directions to work. I am using an IBM T23 laptop and Windows XP. I have confirmed that sound is not muted and volume is all the way up. I've tried pushing the F7 button but no luck. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Has the voice ever worked for you with S&T 2009?
In the full screen navigation mode is the top left button selected? <F7> will toggle this on/off.
Do other sounds work as expected on your system?
Is there any audio coming out of your headphone jack?

The problem ended up being a sound card issue which has been fixed. Thank goodness I'm good friends with an IT person at work. Voice directions work great now! Thanks for trying to help!
