Halloween theme for Microsoft Streets and Trips

Larry just sent me a PM reminiscing a tutorial on making a Halloween map I did a couple of years ago for another website. Here it is again:

Steps to set the background color orange:

• Zoom out to see your route
• Select Rectangle tool on the Drawing toolbar
• Click and drag a rectangle on the map to cover an area larger than your route
• Click on the arrow beside Fill Color tool on the Drawing toolbar and select orange color
• Right-click the rectangle and select Order => Send Behind Roads

You may then import a few cute custom pushpin symbols, place them near your route, and you are done. Streets & Trips allows for importing your own images of up to 128 pixels by 128 pixels large ;-)

The new Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010, with its ability to toggle hide/show pushpins, is more appropriate for this than any of the earlier earlier versions.
