My computer has a Nuvi200c and Garmin Que on a PDA connected and Mobile PC so I picked a location and tried it. All 3 were listed in the 'Send to' drop down, and I was successful in sending it to Que and the Nuvi. However Mobile PC gave an error message about no device connected. I tried it both with Mobile PC (5.00.30) running and shut down.

I tried it. I had my Palm TX with Mobile XT connected via USB and my iQue sitting in the desktop cradle. The only device Mapquest found was Mobile PC. It didn't see anything else.
When I tried to send to Mobile PC I got the same error as you. This is with 5.00.50 installed.

I wonder if this feature was ever meant to work with Garmin Mobile PC.
I'm one of those demanding customers who figures if it finds it, it ought to be able to use it.

I had no expectation that it would work with Mobile PC. I was surprised that Mobile PC showed up in the device list along with the usual card reader related drive letters. It appears to be the same list as MapSource provides so I thought it was worth a try.

When I tried it the only thing it offered to Send to was Mobile PC. The list did not show my SD card reader. It did not list any of my four iQue 3600s. It did not list Mobile XT which was running on the Palm TX that was attached by USB cable at the time.
And it didn't work when I tried to send to Mobile PC.
Where did it show up on the Nuvi and Que on your PDA? Was it a new Contact or Favorite, or a new custom POI?

It showed up in 'Favourites' on the Nuvi and 'WayPoints' on the QUE PDA. You will know if it works though as you get a message that it completed.
I tried it with XT (on my iPAQ) on another computer and could not get it to complete. I got the same message as with Mobile PC. I guess the Garmin interface still needs work.
