I have the Microsoft GPS for Streets and Trips. I'm wondering if I can use it for any other software. My Windows text to speech Doesn't work, so I want a different software that has a TTS engine build in that I can use with the Microsoft GPS sensor.

Thanks

I think iNav iGuidance 2009 has built in speech. It will work with your GPS receiver.

Have you tested your Windows TTS seperately from S&T (Contol Panel - Speech)?

I'm running tiny XP, so the actual TTS software was never installed. Can I use this receiver (Pharos GPS-500) with Google Earth Pro?

Yes.

Hello,

I have the Microsoft GPS-500, but I am looking for the software for it. Would any one know where I could find it?

A good start would be to download a free trial version of Microsoft Streets & Trips 2010 or AutoRoute depending on where you live. however, the GPS 500 will work with virtually any navigation software assuming you have a Windows computer.
