Ram-pod weight capacity?

I'm looking to mount my laptop in a 92 jeep Cherokee. It doesn't appear that anyone makes a vehicle-specific mount for that application, so I'm looking at the Ram-Pod universal solution with the swing arms.

My concern is that the laptop is a Panasonic CF-28, and I already have the powered docking station from Gamber Johnson. Together, the two are 20 lbs, and I'm afraid that I'm going to be seriously over the weight capacity of the ram mount and arms.

any suggestions?

Your right, there is not anyone out there at least that i know of who makes a vehicle specific base for the 92 Jeep Cherokee. Our RAM Pod 3 is a great solution for vehicles that we do not have a specific solution for. But there is another option for your vehicle, it will require drilling but it is one of the more popular bases we offer. I have attached a link below, let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the suggestion. I had looked at the bolt in systems, but because of the shape of the floor plan they almost entirely block the passenger seat. I'm currently thinking that the older pedestal/pipe-mount systems may work best, as there is a provision for an adjustable angled base that I think I could mount to the side of the transmission tunnel.
