You can estimate the accuracy of your GPS internal clock by looking at the estimated position error. For every 1 ft of estimated position error, estimate 1ns of time error. This will get you an approximation of the internal clock accuracy.

There may be some discrepancy between the internal clock and the displayed time due to delays in updating the GPS screen, but if you are just manually setting your watch, its more than good enough.
