Anybody knows how to convert data (tracks, waypoints, charts, etc.) between NOBELTEC and MAX SEA?

I do not believe this is possible. However It would be worth giving them a call on their
free 1-800 number.

I have used their software since 1996 when they were a small company. Now they are a subsidiary of the Boeing company but their Tech Support is remarkably good for a large company. Although their latest product is designed to work with charts produced by Cmap, routes etc can still be imported and exported to their earlier software.

Now MaxSea is a different and competing company and I suspect that it's rather like getting a Chev part to fit a Ford.

Tracks and waypoints should be movable somehow. I have no experience with charts.

Is there a File/Import or File/Export function in either or both? If so, are there common formats available? What file types are available?

What file types are available in the File/Save As file type list? Are there any in common between the two? If not, give us a list and we might be able to point you at a conversion utility that might work.

Have you looked at programs like GPSBabel to see if they handle any file types that the two programs can use? There are also sites on the web that can do GPS file conversions.

THANKS FOR THE HELP. I'M NOT AN "EXPERT" ON SOFT, SO... I'LL TRY TO GATHE THE INFO REGARDING THE TYPE / FORMAT OF FILES USED IN BOTH PROGRAMS. FOR SHURE THE FORMATS OF CHARTS ARE RASTER AND BSB, AND THEY ARE NOT COMPATIBLE (I THINK). LOOKIN FOR GPS BABEL. TKS AGAIN. I'LL LET YOU KNOW RESULTS.
