Laptop GPS software comparison review

Anychance of getting a side by side review of all of the GPS software? Or maybe put out an editor's choice type review? Maybe a shootout style format where you pit one GPS software vs another with the winner going on to compete against the next piece of software until there is a winner?

I guess I could just read all of the reviews and extrapolate, but I'm lazy and would love it if you did all the work for me.

I like the concept of this site. I've been trying to find the ideal GPS software for my usage style, but don't have unlimited cash to try them all out. I also use a tablet pc. So the marriage of GPS reviews with usability from a tablet pc standpoint sounds great to me. From what I saw with the iNav review though I only wish that it had more information on usability from a tablet pc/umpc perspective.

Thanks for suggesting that! I'll do some type of comparison page of all available products after they have all been reviewed. I still have a few of them to do. I'm working now on ALK CoPilot (also a touch-screen friendly application), then I will review MapFactor PC Navigator (also touch-screen friendly). Lastly, Garmin nRoute - not a touch-screen friendly product, just like MS Streets & Trips and also DeLorme Street Atlas, but a feature rich and powerful application nevertheless.

A feature comparison sheet is needed, but I will not be giving out "Editor's Choice" awards , because all of these programs are great, and they have been successfully fulfilling the needs of many thousands of satisfied customers each. It's just a matter of fitting the right product with the particular needs of the right individual.

Is there something about GPS's that attract lazy people? I was thinking the same thing about how it would be nice if someone did a side by side comparison for me! I am also particularly interested in tablet / touchscreen applications.
