Sorry if answer has been posted. I could not find the correct words to get a search return
update: found .est files I know I saved in 08 and it opened them, will not open ones before 08. possibly lost rollover updates in old laptop that crashed earlier this year. backup files show modified dates of 05. been saving since 01 and possibly didn't backup since 05,
Hi compwrench. Welcome to the forums. The .est_fix part in the title confuses me a little bit. Are you just saying that your Streets & Trips 2009 cannot open a file saved in Streets & Trips 2008?
the est files are from before ST08 that wont open. I think I lost all my converted files when my laptop drive crashed earlier this year. I am currently looking for newer backup files. est files made by ST08 do open and the ones that wont open have modified dates of 2005.

Update: Not only will ST09 not open files updated from before ST08, it will not open files I generated with ST08. Some do Some don't. It seems random with the files created with ST08. None pre-ST08 updated with ST08 will open with ST09. I still like it though. Just like everything else in this world it has limitations.
