Duplicate POI catagories produced with Garmin POI Loader

Hello all
Can some one tell me the reason for poi loader to install duplicate catagories and poi's when it is used.
I have successfully loaded poi's on desktop vista but when i try on laptop xp i get duplication of what ever i load.
Edit: Just tried to import poi to vista and it is now doing it as well .....HELP

Any other ideas

Do you have POI Loader v2.53? If not, upgrade to it.

Do you have more than one file in the folder that contains the file you are converting from? If so, move the others so there is only one file for POI Loader to use.

poi loader version 2.53 i have and it is a separate file on its own.
It really has me stumped.

Ok now totally confused
Turned of both computers running this program and went to work.
Came home ... turned em on and guess what all is right?
Can any one now tell me what is going on.
Just to prove that it fixed them both i reloaded some other poi files and went straight in and both computers duplicated.
Rebooted and all fixed .... no duplicates.
