Yes, I have that set up here... I like it a lot. What I found was that if I turn the display 90 deg then the direction of travel would have more screen to show the next turns coming up.
This can be done from Right Clicking on the Desktop. Then Graphics Options,
Then Rotation... I like the 270 Deg as it will then allow me to place the keybd on the right side. I made a simple support out of 3/4 inch pipe with a 6 in board for a desk top. On the desk I placed a wooden support for the Pc. Using a light bungee cord to hold the Acer One in place.

I have an Aspire One, with Street Atlas 2009 and it works just fine. I normally use a 12" Dell. That is my main computer, but I've been trying to use the Aspire One just for the decrease in size.
Anyway, I saved my Delorme Docs from my Dell, put them on the Aspire One, and had all my saved locations (customers) on the Aspire One.
The screen size is just fine for my aging eyes, and the Aspire One will even sit on the dashboard of my pickup. Very usable in busy traffic.

I placed the software on my 8 inch Aspire One and it worked well.
But...
We bought a second one, a 10 inch model and it would not work.
I called the help line months ago and am still waiting for an answer.
Why won't it load and run???

I just installed 2010 on my Acer Aspire One netbook and it sure looks pretty. I installed it to default to netbook mode automatically when it runs.

I haven't done anything with it yet but it sure looks nice and seems to run just fine.

Ron7623, welcome to the forums, and thanks for the feedback.

W5GXL, perhaps you would have better luck with the new 2010 version!

Ken, I took the liberty of quoting you in the DeLorme Street Atlas 2010 review, since yours has been the first feedback by a netbook user running the new version.

That may be what I will be forced to do.
At this time it is not worth the dollars to upgrade only one year.
Thanks
