Help with Garmin vision

Hello to all. I have a question. I bought a used Garmin G2 vision card for a 540s GPS unit. It works nicely and the mapping is incredible, but every time i put it in, it turns the GPS into demo mode with no options of changing it. Does anybody know how to change this, or change a file name or something to get it to work in normal mode? Help is mucho appreciated!!
