Help! Garmin Mobile PC installation DVD seems to be blank!

hello everyone. i'm a first time poster with a very high frustration level!!!!
i just got the mobile pc 20x bundle but the my desktop says that the dvd is blank. i ordered a second one and, what do you know, it does the same thing! has anyone else had this problem? i checked my drive with other disks and it seems to be working fine.

Well Garmin finally came up with the ultimate solution to software piracy.

LOL, either that, or just simply the DVD drive cannot read that one DVD disk. Try to insert the DVD disk into a DVD drive of another computer.

well, it seems that the drive was the prob after all . i got an external, hooked it up and... ta da! this is the 1st gps that i've used and like it alot. though, i do have one more question. i thought that mapsource came on the software dvd, but, can't seem to find it. am i mistaken?
