Anybody else having a problem with activating S&T 2009? When I first installed the program I thought I activated the program via the web and indeed did get an activation successful message from the web. Now, this morning I got the activation screen telling me that I have 28 days left on this trial copy. This by the way was a purchased copy complete with a valid product code. So I went throught the activation via the web process again. I am getting the feeling that this is going to be an issue. By the way, I did call try to call Tech Support to see if they could help. Got transferred to the automatic activation line which could not help me unless the activation screen was open. Glad I got 28 days left on my purchased copy of this program.

I've not had that issue but have experienced seeking online help from MS and was told the Product ID was invalid. This was a software package purchased through Amazon.

As an update, when the activation screen popped up again I selected phone activation and manually keyed in their conformation code. So far no more activation reminders and the program seems to be working like it should over the last 3days. I am hoping. Kaba, your experience with being told the Product ID being invalid is not the first time I have heard this. I suspect that you got the helpless desk at MS rather than support.
Got the 9 days left on my purchased copy of Streets box popup today. Have gotten validation successful twice over the internet and once over the telephone. Today called in and got transferred over to a live person. After going through repeating the number sequence, I was informed that the "system" was undergoing maintenance and I would need to call back. "Thank you for calling Microsoft." Is it really possible to get this program activated? Please let me know how!
