I'm having a devil of a time installing my new earthmate.

On my HP laptop, the earthmate is recognized and installed automatically, no problem! The Asus eee (the one I intend to use it with) refuses to acknowledge it's connected The USB ports on the eee are working fine with other devices, and the LT-40 is drawing power from the port as well.

I can not for the life of me find the drivers to try a manual install on the deLorme website... somebody tell me I'm crazy and point me to them?

It will only tell you once; although you should hear a sound from XP each time you plug in or remove the device if the drivers are there.

I actually feel better that PEBCAK rather than something with the laptop... easier to fix that Although once I figured out what it was doing, I uninstalled the drivers (via Device Manager) to see what happened when I hooked it up again- no notifications at all, just reinstalled drivers in the background and went on its way!

I put in the Eartmate GPS LT-40 it say it see it and when I go to start the GPS I get a blue screen. I need to fine the drivers
