PC requires passwords after Tech Support helps w/Streets & Trips 2009 instalation
blueyedevil
Hi, just installed Microsoft Streets and Trips 2009 w/help from India. It finally works but now I have to put in a password on all 3 screen names on my laptop and I do not want this. I'm not tech savvy but I can follow directions. Does anyone know how to take off this password protection? thx

I cannot help you...

But i am just curious. What is your usage of S&T in your country (maps are just for North America)?

Hi MisterMoonlight,

I'm pretty sure the message meant that the tech support was in India, not the original poster.

Well depending on whether you have Windows XP or Vista, the instructions vary slightly, but you can change these settings in your Contol Panel under User Accounts. If it has a password you will want to clear it out (this might require you to enter the current password). Reboot and the issue should be resolved.
