Loading an IMG file to Garmin

Hi everybody.

First of all, I'm new in this forum, so hello!
I'm also new with Garmin.
I installed Garmin Mobile PC 5.00.60 and MapSource 6.15.6.
Now, I need some maps...
I live in Israel, and I didn't see on Garmin's site an Israeli map. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
So I searched in MapCenter site, and found a map for Israel roads.
I downloaded, and it was an IMG file.
Now I don't know what to do with this file. I tried to put it in Garmin folder, but MapSource didn't recognize it. I tried to put it in Garmin Mobile PC folder, but Garmin also didn't recognize it.

So I would appreciate some help...

How do you know Mobile PC does not recognize it? Did you look under Tools-Manage My Data-MapSets to see if it was there?

Try to rename your IMG file to gmapsupp.img, put it in garminmobilepc folder. If map is not recognized by Garmin mobile pc, may be your file is corrupt or not unlocked for your Garmin device.
