ALK CoPilot 11 for RV

I am reading all the older comments about the ALK Copilot 11 and how the data is outdated. Is that still the case? I have to purchase a GPS software and receiver and possibly a mount before two weeks pass. I have decided ALK Copilot is best for RV use (height and tight place data). Where would be the best place to purchase?
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, see if Semsons.com still stocks ALK CoPilot. I think you can also order directly from ALK, but the price may be a bit higher. Try if Froogle.com comes up with some good results on ALK CoPilot 11. Or try searching here.

Thanks for the reply. I tried all that you mentioned with no luck. I have been reading quite a bit of bad raps Copilot 11 is getting with respet to points of interest and complex menus. I also read their bridge height data is worthless. The low clearance data is the only reason I would spend the price they ask. If that is unreliable, I may as well use cheaper products. It seems the low clearance data is the only real thing that sets Copilot apart. Would that be
your opinion?
Thanks,

Jim, unless CP11 is alot different than 10 both the dw and I believe that you will be happier with SA, we have both and she prefers Street Atlas.

With CoPilot 10 the rv option gives a choice of a 12'6" or 13' clearance, real handy huh?

If you have not considered getting an external receiver/antenna give it some thought, our MR350 is some of the best money we have spent-mounting in on the top of our roof ac and routing to the interior was easy; let me know if you would like to see pics.
