I'm unable to get MapSource (or MapInstall) to talk to Mobile PC.

I start Mobile PC and it connects to my GPS 10x.
Then I start MapSource.
When I try to transfer some thing to Mobile PC it does not find any device.

Now that you have posted your question, if you look at the bottom of the page you will see a section titled Similar Threads. There should be one or two that are relevant. There should be one titled http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/762-problems-sending-maps-mapsource-garmin-mobile-pc which might help. Also, when you are in that discussion thread look again at the bottom of any page in that thread and see what the Similar Threads list suggests.

By the way, you didn't say which versions of Mapsource and Mobile PC you are using. There are at least a few versions of Mapsource that refuse to see Mobile PC no matter what you do.

My problem is not the same as in this thread.

MapSource does not see Mobile PC at all.

Here are some specs:

Windows XP
MapSource 6.13.7
Mobile PC 5.00.60g
Unlocked 2009 North America NT maps

Sorry I can't be more help. Mapsource 6.13.7 and Mobile PC 5.00.60 normally work together just fine. They do on my system.

I was able to send my maps from MapSource to Mobile PC using a USB flash drive like you suggested in another thread. )

Hi... on previous post about the divorce between GMPc and Mapsource... I`ve wrote a mistake:when refereing to Version 6.13.1 I`ve must written V. 6.13.7.
Why so lately I`m telling this???
Because V. 6.13.7 es most efficient,nearly bug free I`ve ever worked.
Now I`m working V. 6.15.6...but have also the 6.13.7 version too...
Both are installled...,both working...and both nearlly 100% bug free in conecting to GMPc.
