Laptop crashed, lost everything. do I need a new activation code for Microsoft Streets and Trips 2009 to work again?

Just reinstall and use the same activation code and you'll be fine.

I can sympathize if you do wind up losing cash on the deal, when u get urself resuited with pay twice software. I recommend getting acronis home backup utility. it seems kind of intimidating at first but it is real simple to use and get a portable hard drive with high speed usb.
get ur machine back where u want it and save disk image with acronis onto plug in hotlink hard drive. notime have all investments secured from that exact situation. complete domination of that issue forever. just takes minutes too. and if u want put everything back in minutes. best thing ever. can restore all day if u want. bout 80.00 total u can leave portable hard drive at home too for added security. and put info on other machines.
