| Where to buy Microsoft GPS receiver Hi all - new to the forum, mainly due because my big Lab dog chew the cable and GPS receiver, it is not working now. I do not see the need to purchase the MS Sreet & Trips again to get the receiver. Is there a place I can order or buy one, I checked with Best Buy, but no luck. Appreciate any help here, thanks!

Hi Frabon, to Laptop GPS World.Which USB GPS unit are you looking for? Is it one of the older models, or is it the one that came with the new 2009 version of Streets & Trips? The older one used to be possible to buy directly from Pharos, the maker of the unit. The newer one is made by a company named Navation. If you have a difficult time locating a store to order it from, you could buy a different compatible type, such as the popular BU-353 by GlobalSat. But even though the BU-353 is so inexpensive, it is possible to find Streets and Trips w/GPS for only a couple of dollars more! |

Thank you very much Marvin for the welcome. I had a 2007 version tha came with the old receiver, however recently upgraded online with the 2009 version and planned to use with the old receiver. My trusty dog thought it was candy!! Anyhow I suppose any of the receivers you mentioned will work fine and do appreciate your feedback.Frabon82 |
