Does it exist the data protokol for creating new waypoints connect PC with GPS. Simply write data in PC and connect PC with GPS and upgrade data? Type of GPS "Garmin 196"
You can use the Garmin Mapsource program if you want to transfer the waypoint and track data from your Garmin 196 to view on the PC after you travel.
You must have a cable to connect the 196 to the PC and you must have some maps to load in Mapsource to view the waypoints and tracks.
This does not do realtime navigation. This just lets you transfer the data from your Garmin 196 after you travel.
