I don't have any idea. I didn't try the 2010 version yet.

It is possible that some functions may still work, but generally, it has to be customized to make everything work correctly.

Just give it a try and report the result (it is free!).

Keys 2009 doesn't seem to work with S&T 2010. I get an error message: "Neither Streets and Trips 2009, nor Autoroute 2009 has been detected."
MisterMoonlight
I guess that once that detection is ok, it would go further. If the 2009 version of S&T is still installed, and after that the 2010 version of S&T is installed, S&T Keys will probably start the new version once the old version is detected...

I skipped 2009...

I first installed S&T 2010, and then the 2009 Hotkeys and the 2009 Hotkeys did not work - i.e. did not install because it couldn't find S&T 2009.

Next, I intstalled S&T 2009 on my machine, along with keeping 2010 on there as well. Voila, the 2009 Hotkeys worked (sort of) in 2010.

One problem I immediately noticed though - using F6 to insert a pushpin did not work, in fact I couldn't even insert a pushpin in 2010 from a GPS position from the normal menu, so something is screwed up. I may have to uninstall 2009 Hotkeys, since I think it may have messed up the normal operation of S&T 2010.

MisterMoonlight,

First of all - THANKS for keeping the S&T Keys updated!!! Your work is very much appreciated!!!!

I did try some functions of S&T Keys 2009 in the 2010 version - and the first one I noticed that did not work was the insert pushpin at GPS location - F6 key, this is one I'd use a lot, in addition to the create GPS trail toggle.

Just wondering if I may kindly ask you if there is an ETA for the S&T 2010 Hotkeys?

Thanks again, much appreciated...

I didn't have time to take a look at it. I made some modifications that began earlier for the 2009 version and i want to start the new 2010 code base on this new version and not S&T Keys 2009 v2.54. Because this is a hobby, the time allocated to it is variable and prediction is very difficult for me.

But for sure i didn't start the work yet for the 2010 version. The first release version of 2009 was there somewhere in december 2008. The actual version is from january 2009.

I think that once i grab my hand on it, a preliminary beta could be available probably rapidly. But actually, i don't know exactly when i will have time to start to work on the 2010 version...

My main objective now is to finish the current 2009 version work and release an update for it...

MM,

Thanks for the reply and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, I know that myself and others sincerely appreciate your efforts, looking forward to it!

Just wanted to check in and see if anything was new for the S&T 2010 hotkeys, still hoping!
MisterMoonlight
I will release a new 2009 version in the next week or so (probably the last one) with new features, then i will use this new code base to prepare a beta for 2010 versions. I don't know how long it would take to make the first beta, it depends how many differences or problems there are
waveguide
Mr Moonlight,

Thanks very much for your reply! I'll certainly give you some feedback on the beta 2010 version when posted, looking forward to that very much.

Appreciated,

Dave

Mr Moonlight,

Thank you very much. I will download this and give it a try in the field and get back to you with comments. I'm tied up this week contracting at another job site, but when I get back to the office it'll be at the top of my list, looking forward to this very much - if it works it'll be a great timesaver. Thanks again,

Dave
