Hi I just joined this site after scouring the internet for a solution to my problem. Previously I installed Garmin Mobile PC version .50 on my HP Mini netbook and it was working beautifully.
I switched over from version .50 to version .60g couple of days ago. The installation went correctly as far as I am aware because I could go all the way to navigation panel and also to the settings page. I then re-boot and re-started GMPC and I got this message:
ERROR : Assert failed at uni_cnvt.c : 326 in PocketNav with error 0
I un-install and re-install a few times and also re-install over the program but the problem is always the same. The 1st time is ok but after re-boot or exiting from the program and then going back always get the same message.
Appreciate any assistance on this matter.
