I have been sending my waypoints to my Nuvi 255w and I have a problem: If my route in Streets and Trips is over 20 stops I have to go back and send them one at a time. For some reason it only sends up to 20. Today I had to to load 42 waypoints one at a time after the first 20 were sent. Am I doing anything wrong?

I would recommend the GPX method for routes with over 20 waypoints. Try exporting your 42 waypoints to a GPX file. Then copy the exported GPX file to the GPX folder on your Nuvi. Unplug your Nuvi and when it restarts - you're done.

This is much faster, requires no internet connection, involves no other software and has no waypoint limits other than possible those imposed by the Nuvi.

If you are using Streets and Trips 2010 as you must be doing, you can save the route in the GPX format straight to your Garmin GPX folder.

Well, I tried sending a GPX to the nuvi but it sent all my pushpins not just the route...I have over a thousand push pins. Guess I won't be using the nuvi as much as i thought I would. Thanks anyway.
