Very interesting.
The address on N Emerson ends up with two results on mine as well. What is most interesting is that neither of them are on N Emerson. One is on S Emerson and the other is over in a crescent called Byrd Way. Definitely map data errors.
For the Sugar Grove Rd in Plainfield I'm getting a number of suggestions for Sugar Grove Ave in Indianapolis. I can't get a hit on any street with "sugar" in the name in Plainfield.
I typed "craker barrel, terre haute, in, usa" (my mispelling) into the search bar and I got the Cracker Barrel on 429 E Margaret Dr. just east of US 41/150. I don't see any access road.
No, I'm not saying there's a difference between the DVD and the download version. There is none. What I was suggesting was that if you got it on DVD it might have been a glitch on the DVD or if you downloaded it there might have been a glitch in the download file.
However, at the same time as I checked your locations in Streets&Trips 2010 I also checked the same data in Garmin's City Navigator North America 2010.1. I get a hit on the one on N Emerson in Garmin's maps in what looks like a good location, right by Caldwell Travel a couple blocks North of E. Main St. ... a block or so South of the Wal-Mart. I get the same results on the Sugar Rd location (none) in both Streets&Trips and Garmin City Navigator.
Both of them find the Cracker Barrel in Terre Haute and neither of them show the "service road". (I also looked at Garmin City Navigator 2009 and it was not there, either.)
I took a look on Google Maps and I can see what you mean about the "service road" leading back into the Cracker Barrel parking lot. My guess is that it's a private road that might be considered just part of the parking lot and removed since 2009 as an error. But that's just a guess. Interestingly, Google Maps points at the Cracker Barrell in its proper location, south of the main road. Streets&Trips and Garmin both show it out on Margaret Rd.
None of that will make you feel any better but at least it will confirm that there is nothing wrong with your installation.
If you are interested in pointing out the problems to Navteq so they will be corrected in a future version, here's a link to their Map Reporter. It's really simple to use.

Next time could you please find errors in the Canadian parts so I don't have to keep typing USA into all the test addresses? Thanks.
