Zoom to entire route by clicking on the Summary line in the Directions
Tom Bernardi
I have always used the Streets & Trips menu bar - View/Zoom/To entire route - to get to an overview of my itinerary and then zoomed down to the location I wanted to look at closer using my mouse rotor.

What I had not noticed until recently is that you can accomplish the same thing(s) by clicking on the Summary line in the Directions [to get the overall itinerary view], and you can zoom down to a location by double clicking an Arrive or Depart line in Directions.

Probably "old hat" to some users, but thought I would mention it.

Thanks for the tip... I'm one who did not know... You can also zoom to a pushpin (in Streets & Trips 2008) by clicking it in the route list...

In the same vein, if you want to zoom to the route for a single day of a multi-day trip, click on the day in question (like "Day Two") in the Driving Directions and it will zoom to a view of that day's route.

Very handy Spadeflush, thanks for that tip - wow - can't wait to find more.

Well, OK, if you insist: click on any Driving Directions line item and the view will zoom in to that location - no matter how large or small.
