I have a new map, I'll call it "Ohio". In that map I want to save all my pushpins to "Ohio" and NOT to "My pushpins". After making the the new "Ohio" set, I delete the "My pushpins" set. What I want is for all new pushpins to go into the new "Ohio" set in that map only.
What happens is every time I create a new pushpin, it still goes into and makes a new "My Pushpins" set. I want the NEW Ohio set to be the default. How do I do that?
I am using Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010.

Here's what I did (Streets&Trips2010):
- Opened a new map in S&T
- Created a pushpin by clicking on the pushpin icon in the toolbar and clicking on a spot on the map, then I typed a new name in the info box by the pushpin.
-- It went into My Pushpins.
- I right-clicked the My Pushpins and renamed it to "Alter".
- I created another pushpin by clicking on the pushpin icon on the toolbar, clicking on the map and gave it a name by typing the new name in the info box by the pushpin.
-- It went into Alter pushpin set.
- I saved the map, exited S&T then double-clicked the map file to open it again in S&T.
- Still just the one pushpin set .. Alter.
- Created another pushpin by clicking on the pushpin icon on the toolbar, clicking on the map and gave it a name by typing the new name in the info box by the pushpin.
-- It went into Alter pushpin set. Still just that one pushpin set.
Seems to work for me.
