Hi all, first time posting here, I have a delema that I hope someone can help me resolve.
I have used Microsoft streets and trips for years and loved every version until 2010. I am on the road a lot going to different businesses and residences for my job. I currently use 2005 and needed to update as there are newer housing developments in the area. My problem is that with 2005 I do not have the newer addresses and the 2010 does not have some of the old addresses that 2005 has. I tried to install 2010 and save 2005 hoping it would merge the 2005 data but it didn't. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to incorporate the map files from 2005 to the 2010 version so I don't have to have both map programs running? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Unfortunatly, there is no way to merge map data in both programs in the single 2010 versions. Usually you can have more than one version install. Use the 2010 version most of the time and if you only have a couple of address in problem, you may search the other version to get the lat/lon of the address and use it in the 2010 versions (just a suggestion).
Just take care that the 2008-2009 and probably 2010 versions are more sensitive to search information you are typing. This could be the reason you are not finding it in the new version. Just type not too much data when searching to avoid not finding anything. There are many threads about search problem in the 2009 version on this forum than once tailored correctly will guide you to correct search results in the new version. Just take a look on this forum...
