Can I delete the large 2 gig file garmin_rmu_cnnant2010_30 once I have updated my maps in the Garmin Mobile PC program?
Yes, but you might want to keep a backup of it. Did it also create a Garmin City Navigator North America NT 2010.30.gmap folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Garmin\Maps (XP) or C:\Program Data\GARMIN\Maps (Vista)?

Interesting! From this and another thread, I gather that updates for Mobile PC are different from Nuvi updates. It appears they do not include the files necessary to display the new map product in MapSource.

They probably think Mobile PC has everything you need and won't need Mapsource for anything so it's okay to just download the .img file.
