What's strange is when I use the F6 key to insert pushpin at current location, the pushpin is inserted, but the pushpin accuracy is pretty bad
There was a major bug regarding F6/F10 gps icon search logic. I strongly suggest if you are using these functions to upgrade to these versions or later:

S&T Keys 2009 v2.55.5 (For S&T 2009):

Bug report for the options menu:

1- Explain which version of S&T Keys 2010 you are using (hoover your mouse on the icon in windows tray menu).
3.55.4

2- Gives the exact details (procedure steps) on how to reproduce the problem.
I press F4 to get the list of keys/assignments, then press "options". The menu that shows for that is kind of messy looking (not sure how to describe it - see screen cap below). I guess the text alignment in both the dialog boxes and some of the buttons is off.

3- Try the given procedure for problem reproduction more than one time to see if it is repeatable.
Yes, it is repeatable.

4- Give the operating system version and details.
Windows 7 (completely up-to-date) with S&T 2010. Also using a large monitor (22").

5- Give computer details.
Standard HP desktop computer running Windows 7, completely up-to-date.

6- Give S&T version and options configuration.
2010, 3.55.4. I have no options configured (other than preferred roads).

7- Be patient , S&T Keys is a free program and i have a lot more other things to do in real life (like working to have some bread to eat!)
No problem. Thank you very much for putting together such a nifty little program! I'm looking forward to using it.

Hi Hoos,

Usually in all situations i have seen these kind of problems with other softwares, it is related of using an operating system different font size (may be a large one) than OS default. Graphics in S&T Keys will not resize i guess if the system font is very large and would not fit in the tiny max 600 pixels wide/height

Can you verify that on your system?

FYI there is a newer version S&T Keys v3.55.5 available...

Thanks for following up MisterMoonlight. I've installed the updated S&T Keys for S&T 2010 - on both my desktop and a laptop - both runniing Windows 7. I have not made any changes to system fonts or any other settings regarding display.

On both the desktop (22" screen) and the laptop (14" screen), I have the same issue with the Options screen for S&T Keys - some text over runs adjacent text/options or doesn't all display on a button.

Thanks!

I have seen a couple of users reporting that it was working correctly under windows 7. I am curious to see if other users are getting the same problem?

What kind of windows 7 version you have (english version)?

What is the screen resolution you are using (and what is the display DPI setting in display advance properties, is it 96 DPI or similar)?

I am running S&TKeys on a 24" monitor with 1920x1200 resolution with Win 7 Pro O/S. I cannot replicate Hoos' problem.

I'm thinking it's the DPI, so I'll reset it to 96 on the laptop and see what happens (requires reboot).

I like the larger DPI for my somewhat, uh, more mature eyes.

Confirming that resetting DPI to 96 on the laptop fixes the problem.

Presumably, it will work on the desktop but I won't be able to try it until later.

Thanks for the help.

Default dpi is usually 96 dpi in previous OS versions. I don't know if it is the default for win 7. This is what i suspected when i told you that you were not using the default font (size).

Unfortunatly, S&T gui is not actually resizable. It is fix and all menu fit within max 600 pixels width/heigth. This is a requierement for very small screen portable unit. So without resizing the GUI (which i want to keep it very small), there are not many things i can do.

S&T Keys is not the only application that has these kind of problems. I have seen others in the past that cannot resist to higher DPI setting (that's why i was awared of this problem)
