Nice! It looks similar to the netbook mounts described in: http://www.laptopgpsworld.com/2246-netbook-windshield-mount-14-95-a
Ducati
It arrived today. It's exactly as pictured, very sturdy very solid. The adjustable arm is very strong/firm once you adjust it to where you want it. The suction cup is also extremely strong. I pulled the lever to "dislodge" it and it was still very stuck to the windshield. There is a small "tab" you pull on to release it after you've pulled the mechanical lever (should you desire to remove it on a regular basis). Or there is a quick release "tab" to remove the tray only.

This is a viable solution for netbooks and ultraportable computers or like-size.

Hey Ducati,

How long is the arm? I couldn't find any dimensions except for the size of laptops it would hold on the link you posted.

I really like the way it disconnects. I have the one in Marvin's link and it's a different connection for the tray. Not as convenient.

Fully extended from the base of the arm it's 9 1/4" this is only the arm it's-self.

It feels like it's some kind of "cable"? or something that's very strong and will stay to the shape that you bend it to. There is some kind of notch on the bottom maybe for some other type of mounting option. Actually it looks like the same "Bracketron" brand type of notch connection for generic cell phone holders. So you could mount a male type of plate on the dash with the nub on it to connect to the base of it..... I think.
