Is There Anyone From the Albuquerque, New Mexico Area?

Gladwin and I are excited to attend the FMCA's 83rd International Convention, which will be held at Expo New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M., from March 22 to 25, 2010.

Well? Who's coming?

I would like to attend, but the setup in Albuquerque is not too Handi-Cap friendly. The Rally is clear across town from the RV parking area. They do have bus service, but my experience from a few years ago, and experience I've heard from others on recent Rally's, is always the same. The bus service isn't very good, doesn't come around as often as it should, and so most people end up driving their own vehicles back and forth. Since the parking is limited at the Rally, it means a long walk, which doesn't work for us with our handi-cap.

Larry & Gladwin, I wish you at least as much fun as you had at the Florida RV SuperShow in January.

bbowers, that doesn't sound right . Don't they have convenient parking for people with medical permit?

We'd love to meet you. I looked on their website FAQ. It says:

What is the location of FMCA’s 83rd International Convention?
Exhibits, seminars, and daytime entertainment will be at EXPO New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. General family parking will be at Balloon Fiesta Park, with handicap family coach parking at EXPO New Mexico.

You could always give them a call (800-543-3622) to see if they have improved in this area over the past few years.

Thanks for the info... Larry. I wasn't aware of the handicap parking at the EXPO itself. It wasn't that way before. Maybe they've made some changes. I know a lot of folks had complained about this issue in the past.

ABQ Checkin...

Started the show off with a seminar on Mapping with the PC with my friend Chuck from FMCA.

It was at 8:15am Monday morning and I was hoping there would be at least a dozen people there. I was pleasantly surprised to see over 100 people in attendance. Wow!

Monday 8am, and you already had >100 people for your seminar! It's very nice to see people being interested in the "Mapping with the PC" subject!

2010 is a great product for the RV Group. I have used Streets & Trips since 2006. I like the features that 2010 has with the ability to turn on and off data sets.

Tried to make the FMCA Rally, but, the Job keeps getting in the way.

Wish I had known about the form and seen your post earlier, we were at the rally and I had a question about Streets & Trips.

Larry, I attended your seminar at FMCA and stopped by your booth. I was really glad to have the opportunity to talk to you about Streets and Trips. I learned about this forum from you and you answered several question. Also downloaded your mega file of POIs.
