Streets and Trips for RV road trips
whfmznb
My first version of Streets was 2000. Since then I've had 2001, 2004, and 2007.

With Version 2000, when you found a campground, you could click "Show Info" and get a complete list of directions, number of sites, activities available, etc. Then with 2004, it was all changed to an internet links to the Woodall site... Worthless if you are driving down the road... and, most upsetting, most (I hate exaggerations but I'll stick to this) most campgrounds are shown miles fro their real location. For example, around Lake of the Ozarks in MO, 50 miles or more.

Again, with Version 2000, road types included "Scenic" and you could select specific driving speeds by road type... Now just slower than average.

I would like to get updated to 2010, but I'm tired of each new version being less informative than the previous one.

Should I try Streets and Trips 2010?

One last thing... What the #$%* is the deal with car dealerships under LANDMARKS?

Thanks...

Hi whfmznb,

I just came across your old post.

What the #$%* is the deal with car dealerships under LANDMARKS?
The current versions no longer have the Landmarks category populated with new car dealerships. :-)

The Scenic routing mode is an interesting concept I've never had the opportunity to test in those old versions. Did it work well?
