Is Garmin Mobile PC version 5.00.70 a map update, or just a software update?

I have an older version of Garmin Mobile PC It's only 2009, but it's missing some local road information. If I download the latest Feb 19th, is that an actual update, or is it the entire software?

179 so MB is a lot to download. I was wondering if there is a link for just the update itself, or downloading the whole thing is the only option I have.

That's a software update, not a map update.

You might want to hold off on that Mobile PC update. Others have reported problems with it crashing unexpectedly. Map updates run about 1.2G, cost money and only work with versions of Mobile PC that came with a GPS.
