Fix S&T Speaking Quirk

We know that Streets and Trips "speaks" what it reads when giving verbal driving directions. Unfortunately, this can be a bit alien to the listeners.

For instance, it will read "Fox Rd" as "Fox Ardy." At least that's how R-D sounds as it is spoken by S&T; it reads the letters R and D but with the emphasis on the first sylable so that it sounds like the psuedo-word, "Ardy." While I suppose I am getting used to this, it would be better if it said "Road."

I do not expect S&T to be able to decipher all abreviations of its speach synthesizer so maybe some things that are now abbreviated should be spelled out in the driving directions such as Rd/Road, St/Street, SR/State Road. I would argue that this would be better than the abbreviation benefit that you get in the Driving Directions.

Ya, but I mean really ... it should be a given that Rd is road, St is street etc etc. It's street mapping software, come on MS.

Nobody else's work any better. I have my Nuvi and Mobile PC set to the human voices. They are easier to listen to than the synthesized ones anyway.

It should be easy to correct this problem. There are very few abreviations (Street, Road, Avenue, etc). Processing the text a little before sending it to microsoft Anna and replace all these shorts for real names should do the job... Even if not perfect, it should be better than what it is actually...
