I have a 7" touch screen in my car, but I can't find any GPS software for the PC it is connected to. I have been search for weeks now, but with no luck.

The requirements I have set is:

- Onscreen keyboard
- Map of Europe
- Speed cameras
- Easy to use on small touch screen

All help is much aprishiated!

Garmin Mobile PC will work with a touchscreen and can be purchased with City Navigator Europe preloaded. I think it allows you to load speed cameras. It does not have an onscreen keyboard.

I know for sure City Navigator Europe is up to 2009 version and I think it's available in 2010 version. You can check on Garmin's web site.

All of the regions listed on the page are available to purchase just the region if you don't want the entire map.

You cannot add usable links in Mobile PC.

If you buy the Mapsource version of the map product that comes on DVD (not the SD card version or Download version) you can add links to waypoints in Mapsource. You can use those links for planning in Mapsource. You cannot use those links from Mobile PC.

You can buy the version of Mobile PC that comes with North America maps and a GPS receiver and add the Europe maps. Or you can buy the version that comes with Europe maps.

I have considered the Garmin Mobile PC, but a OSK is a must. I mean it's strange that OSK isn't compulsory.

I use a program called Centrafuse. There's a couple different plugins for it to run Mobile PC. Both of the plugins add an OSK.

I agree though - they make a great touch-screen friendly program and then not include a keyboard. Makes no sense.

Another option would be to buy a wireless keyboard with a touchpad on it, such as this one:

Thanks! I'll try out Centrafuse! About the keyboard, I do consider the Logitec mini Bluetooth keyboard, but my wallet says NO!

Centrafuse is a really nice piece of software. Hook the laptop to the vehicle car stereo via an adapter and you can play your mp3's and such through it as well.

Sounds excellent! I use a program called Media Center for the moment. I like it quite a lot! It's quite easy to change skins, and has a LOT of opportunities! Great for newbes like me :P But I am downloading Centrafuse as I type

Thanks for advise, but I heave mounted a touch screen in a 2DIN slot in the dash, so I try to avoid heaving any external hardware in the cab. I want to keep it clean and looking stock.

If you go with a small wireless keyboard, it'd be easy to "hide" in a pocket in the vehicle, or maybe even underneath the seat.

I am surprised that no one is suggesting AutoRoute 2010 enhanced with AR Keys - Hotkeys for Microsoft AutoRoute.

The Keys (which is switchable S&T/AR) gives you access to the MSFT OSK. You can try AutoRoute free for 60 days. That's what I recommend.

Is there any GPS software which work without any device on my laptop, I mean on internet etc? And I need for Netherlands?

Hi Thanhas, and welcome to the forums. I'm not aware of such software, but even if your laptop has no GPS device built into it, you can easily and inexpensively add it either via USB or Bluetooth. Search this forum for "usb gps receiver" or "bluetooth gps receiver".
