Hi, just found this interesting forum.

Does anyone know of a way of converting Streets & Trips files to AutoRoute and vice versa?

I'd like to be able to see where other people have been and share some my trips also.

I am not sure it would be of any use cause these 2 products have separate map regions. So if you make a route in one product, it would display poorly in the other one (because there are no adequate maps for it)

Hi Roger, and welcome to Laptop GPS World. The only way to accomplish your goal, as far as I know, is to have both products installed on your computer.

I think we can safely file my original post under "Stupid question of the week".

Roger, you are certainly not alone in wanting to use a single product for both, North America and Europe. I'm not sure if it's ever going to happen, but perhaps as map data cost decreases the likelihood of the two products merging into one increases.
