Is there a way to show the direction I'm pointing my GPS 60csx on my laptop? Garmin nRoute shows my location, but if I point my 60csx, the pointer in nRoute does not track that direction.

The GPS data only knows direction when it is moving. It has to have more than one location to determine the direction it is moving. If you want to know what direction you are facing, get a compass or look at the one on the 60Csx assuming it is set up correctly. It will not pass that information to nRoute.
