How to get Google Earth to display elevation as I move the mouse across the screen?
nevadagary
I have Google Earth installed on two computers, but on my desktop version the elevation always reads zero. I looked in Google Earth help, and couldn't find how to change that.

Anybody know how to get it to display elevation as I move the mouse across the screen? No big deal, but it helps when trying to plot a location such as a repeater or a mountain top to know the elevation.

To see elevation you have to check "Terrain". It's the last item in the list in the "Layers" pane.

Y'er welcome.
