What do I need to use GPS features of Google Earth on laptop?
mickyspec
Hello folks, greetings from Ireland.

I want to use my Windows 7 laptop to show live GPS feed in Google Earth. Can anyone tell me what GPS software / hardware I require?

Will a GPS dongle be sufficient? And does the latest Google Earth version show live tracking, or will I need to upgrade to the Pro version?

Thanks so much

Besides a GPS dongle, you need a helper program such as Earthbridge. It will convert the GPS data to something Google Earth understands plus providing some other graet features.

Earth Bridge - Bridge the gap between Google Earth and your GPS receiver.
