Is there anyone from Oregon state? FMCA Convention?
Larry
Gladwin and I are excited to attend the FMCA's 84th International Convention which will be held at the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon, August 11 to 14, 2010.

For details check out the official website: FMCA is for motor coach and motorhome owners. Motorcoach articles, motor home blogs, motor coach advice and motorhome videos.

If you are from the area, we invite you to come and meet with us and bring your questions and comments. We love to meet everyone who uses Streets & Trips.

This is a real highlight for us to showcase the features of S&T 2010 to all who attend. We will be hanging out at booth #844. It should be fun!

Well? Who's coming?
Larry
Even the approaching forest fires won't keep us away from the FMCA show in Redmond, OR. Looking forward to meeting all the RVers this week.

I always thought Redmond was in Washington but I wasn't sure there wasn't one in Oregon as well. Close enough but I'd need a passport these days.

The Microsoft main campus is in Redmond, WA and the FMCA show is in Redmond, OR (340 miles away). How confusing is that? I am sure there are still people thinking Gladwin and I are doing a local RV show this week.

A search on Streets & Trips 2010 shows there are also Redmonds in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Utah, West Virginia, and Australia. Are you sure you've got the right one?
Larry
OK - I've personally invited a few hundred folks from the Oregon FMCA to join the forum today. Hopefully we'll see more new users this week.

Show is going really well. There is a huge amount of interest in Streets & Trips and so many people are looking to buy it for the first time.

Thanks, Larry. Fridays are usually slow at the site, but I see we've had 3,645 visits here over the past 24 hours. That's a bit higher than the typical Friday traffic.
Larry
Wow! The FMCA convention wrapped up today. Even though attendence was down - it seemed that Gladwin was still able to keep a large crowd interested in the demos.

Thanks for posting the pictures, Larry. What's the next stop? Hershey, PA, September 15 - 19, 2010? That's a big one, isn't it? Are you going this year?
Larry
We've been that past couple of years to the Hershey show. Sometimes we repeat the same shows - other times we like to try somewhere new.

During the first couple of hours of each day we would invite people to bring in their laptops if they needed some extra help setting up S&T. Many people took us up on this. Here is a typical picture of our booth table with 4 laptops. A common request was to make the POI megafile their default start up map.
