Is it possible to add maps of Canada to MapPoint Europe?
Plantje
I have Microsoft MapPoint 2010 for Europe. Now I am planning on going to Canada in September; is it possible to add maps for Canada? Or do I have to download a separate version of MapPoint?

Downloading should not be a problem because I have an MSDN subscription. At least I used to have it. My company is now renegotiating with Microsoft, but it shouldn't be a problem.

How can I make sure I can use Microsoft Mappoint 2010 in Canada?

Thanks!

Plantje,

You do have to download a separate version, it is called MapPoint 2010 North America. They are completely separate versions of the software and you cannot mix the maps or combine the software.

Hope this helps.

Not what I was hoping for, but it helps!

I have already downloaded it and I am planning on installing it shortly.

Thanks for the answer!
