Mouse pointer bouncing when Streets & Trips connected to Garmin GPS
ronbum
When connecting Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010 to my Garmin 76csx, the mouse pointer jumps around rendering the program useless. What gives?

As the 76Csx does not come with a serial driver, how are you using it with S&T? Spanner? GPS Gate?

If, by chance, your 76csx is actually serial connected this may be a Microsoft BallPoint Mouse issue. That is, Windows is recognizing the GPS as a mouse. If that is the case, you can go into Device Manager and expand the 'Human Interface Devices' section. Disabling the ballpoint mouse entry will usually solve the problem.

Good catch, Terry. My bet is that will be the fix.
