MS Streets & Trips cannot locate Napa Auto Pro, Vancouver, BC
lortech
Looked at POI Factory and others. Seems that I did find a Napa Auto Pro, but its world wide. I would like to only locate all shops in the general Vancouver regional district.

BTW, I am really enjoying "trying to" Streets & Trips 2008. There are a few irritants that bother me. One is the push pin default icon. Way to small and its white color blends in with the background. This does not work for me if I am driving. It should be another color.

I made another icon "copied the Princes Auto jpg" and converted it to 32x32 ico. Seems to work.

Will new incarnations of S&T be voice activated?

Try going to the direct NAPA website and do a search for stores by town name or postal code... Otherwise, breakout the business directory and build the spreadsheet to upload...

Good point. Will do that. BTW, I wonder if there is a app that can sort the addresses of another major chain into a form that Streets and Trips can handle.

Darn if I did not know how to use Perl.

Perl? Who's Perl?

No, really, what's Perl?

Unless you're joking, it's Practical Extraction Reporting Language.

Streets & Trips can handle GPX, XLS, CSV, and TXT files. So if 'another major chain' publishes in one of those formats, S&T 2010 will be able to sort it, Perl not required.
