Easy way to transfer Microsoft Streets & Trips pushpins to Garmin MapSource?
flannigan
Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer "pushpins" from Microsoft Streets and Trips directly to Garmin MapSource without going to your GPS first?

Thanks,

Hi Mike,

If you have Streets&Trips 2010 it doesn't get much simpler. Just click on DATA and select "Export to GPX file". Once you have saved the GPX file, you can open it in Mapsource and the pushpins will show up on the Waypoints tab.

Thanks a lot. I'm ashamed I haven't seen that before.

I'm not a beer drinker but thanks for the offer. A pot of tea, Earl Grey or Monks Blend, will do nicely if you ever get through this way. Proper leaf tea, of course; not the powdered floor sweepings they put in tea bags.

Or, alternatively, a shot of Bailey's is always acceptable once the sun is over the yardarm.

The Bailey's I would join you in. Maybe it's because my last name is Flannigan-
