Has anyone had problems with Microsoft Streets and Trips 2011?

I specifically had problems with trying to copy and paste the open map to a Word document. I have never had this type of problem before. I went back to 2010 and had no problem with it.

P.S. It was the trial version I downloaded.

I just tried copying the map from S&T 2011 trial using the shortcut (CTRL+SHFT+C) and pasting to Word 2003 (CTRL V) and it worked fine. Is that what you are attempting?

Yes ! However, I'm using Word 2010. I don't know if that would make a difference or not. Again I went back to Streets 2010 and had no problem copying and pasting to the same Word 2010.

There are only 2 operations involved. You can check the first by opening another program such as Microsoft Paint and attempting the paste there. If that doesn't work, something is wrong with the copy function in S&T 2011 on your computer. If it does the problem is with the paste function to Word 2010 on your computer.

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn't explain it properly. The paste worked but the paste copy was distorted, like out of proportion with both the picture and the text. Whereas the 2010 past was normal.

I decided to uninstall the Streets & Trips 2011 and wait to buy the disc when it becomes available.

Mike, I just tested to copy (Ctrl+Shift+C) map from Streets and Trips 2011 to Word 2003 (sorry, that's the only version I have here). It worked as expected, with no distortion.

If you wish, you could attach a sample of the distorted map. But I don't know what to suggest you to try other than restart the PC.

When you try a copy/paste from S&T2011 to a different program like Microsoft Paint, is the map distorted?

I didn't try that and I uninstalled the trial version of 2011 so I can't test that.

I am going to buy the disc when it becomes available and I will try it again and try what you're suggesting also.

I'm going to save these notes and I'll let you know what I find out.

We are having a similar problem when trying to issue the copy map command and then paste it into Agware Clickforms. The map cuts off part of the right of the map and then puts it on the left side of the map.
