inSSIDer not getting data from GPS
XPort and Microsoft Streets and Trips both use GPS fine.

but inSSIDer does not.

I am on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with i5 m 480 and the USB GPS from MS Streets and Trips.

Any ideas?

For some reason, I am not able to use 2 programs at once, where I used to be able to no problem.

Maybe it's because I'm on 64 bit?

Also, is there a 64 bit version of XPort? I can't create com ports in the 32 bit "not supported in 32 bit"

Hi casemods, and welcome to the forums. You have answered your question yourself. Multiple programs are typically unable to use a single GPS receiver simultaneously, unless a GPS signal splitter is used. If there is no version of XPort for your operating system available, consider using Franson GpsGate instead.
I can confirm that GPSGate works on Windows 7, 64bit. I use it on a daily basis.
Ok, well I formatted the laptop with 32 bit to get XPorts to work (which worked flawlessly).

I will give GPSGate a try, thanks. About
