Ever since I got the GPS receiver for Streets and Trips, on my Toshiba netbook with Windows 7 Home edition, it's been over whelming!! it's like my Garmin Nuvi on Steroids. It does and can do so many things, I get lost in it. One problem I had. I had a trip planned out, when I stopped for a while for a Ferry in Seattle, it stopped tracking. I tried for a while to figure it out, but had to start over. Don't know what that it is about.

Also, anybody know what way points are? I looked in the help menu and couldn't find any info.

In S&T-ese, waypoints are "Stops." The default for "Stops" is to not actually stop, as in coming to a full halt, which is of course slightly self-contradictory. Unless one enters some values in the "Schedule Stop" box of the Route planner, S&T will keep spinning out instructions without making any allowances for actually stopping. Kind of backwards, but you'll get used to it.
