CoPilot updates
malaki86
Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up that CoPilot v8 for the Android and iDevices has a free upgrade to the new version available. I upgraded my Android standard version 2 weeks ago and the truck version on the iPad last week. I like the changes - there's quite a bit of new stuff added.

Haven't seen anything yet about the laptop version, though. Keeping my eyes open for it.

How recent is this update? I got an update a few weeks ago. I think I even mentioned it in another thread here. My "About CoPilot Live" says I've got Version 9.1.5.79.

I'm not showing any updates when I check my apps. Can you confirm your Android version?

You have the most recent version. The "standard" version was released a month or so ago. The Truck version was just released last week.

Looking for Android version of offline maps. Looking in the Google Store, they don't seem to have the Copilot Live Premium NA, just USA. ALK site lists NA version, so just wondering if it's by design or random acts of distribution.

Also, how does ALK compare with other offline droid maps - Navigon, Trimble, etc. Thanks.

I've been using CoPilot for something in the range of 5 years. The only time there's an issue with a road in the maps is when the roads are still "new". Of course, not every new road will appear in next years update, either. It just depends on how fast NavTeq (their map source) gets the data updated.

CoPilot for the 'droid & iOS have went through changes lately as far as their naming. I'm honestly not sure which is which. I know they have a free version, which can be "upgraded" into the full paid version if you need.
